AMAZING FACE: THINGS THAT ZOE HAS TAUGHT ME

Ok, so admittedly I am no beauty expert.
My beauty regime consists (on a good day Lusters..) of a tinted moisturiser, mascara, bronzer and if I remember to throw it in my bag, some lip gloss.
Pretty technical huh?
My beauty retard-ness is what led me to march out the door at 9am the day Amazing Face by Zoe Foster was released, and boy did it help heal the pain of an early wake up on my day off.
I thought it was worth making a quick list of the tips in this book that have changed my life. (Yes, LIFE. Melodramatic maybe, but you'll see what I mean)

WHAT ZOE HAS TAUGHT ME:
1. Touche Eclat by YSL is NOT A CONCEALER!! You must use it as an illuminator on TOP of a concealer! (Refer to above 'life changing statement')
2. Even in your 20's you should be using a serum, night cream and an eye cream at night. (This is the 21st century people there is no reason you should EVER be wrinkly!)
3. To prevent broken capillaries on your face NEVER put your face under the shower stream. This is both devastating and life changing for me... all in one sentence, and I must admit it's a habit, much like accidentally using the tap water to clean your teeth while in Bali, completely forgetting the 2 litres of bottled water that is sitting in fingertip's reach of the sink. But i'm trying!
4. Rosehip oil. It is amazing on dry skin (Such as mine) and you can use it as a face mask. I love those 'solves anything and everything' super products.
5. Do not use a foundation or moisturiser with SPF at night. It sounds straight forward doesnt it? No sun should equal no sunscreen.... Anyway? why you might ask? Because you will look shiny and white in happy snaps. Enough said.
6. Use the Nike tick when applying creme blush. (Oh.. and then blend.. noone wants to walk around with a weird tick on their face, that is not what we are trying to achieve here)
7. Leave a minute between primer/foundation/concealer/bronzer/blush. It needs time to sink in.
8. Use brown shades for a smokey eye instead of black. Less harsh people, and you are less at risk of looking like you have 2 black eyes. You know the look I'm talking about.
9. You are not crazy to use 3 types of mascara all at once! Use a defining mascara then a lengthening and then a massive volume building one. I can't wait to try this.
10. NEVER spray perfume on your neck, sun loves alcohol and will react with your perfume resulting in many many wrinkles. To save yourself spray perfume on your body (that will not be exposed to sunlight) and on wrists.
